Join CAP
We are always looking for new members interested in serving their community and nation through Civil Air Patrol. The process to join is simple and the staff of TX-041 will be glad to help you with your membership process.
STEP 1:
Visit Civil Air Patrol's website for information about joining as a cadet (18 or under) or adult member (18 and over).
STEP 2:
Come to a meeting (see our meeting schedule and location) to visit with the senior or cadet leadership and see what we do during a regular meeting.
STEP 3:
ADULTS:
After you have attended two meetings and are ready to make the commitment to joining, download and complete a membership application and obtain a completed FBI fingerprint card. You must complete the following fields on the fingerprint card for proper processing at Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters:

Once the application and fingerprint card is complete, bring the application back to a squadron meeting along with proof of identity (one identity document from the USCIS List A or List B) for signature by the unit commander. Completed membership application packages (application, fingerprint card, and membership dues made payable to Civil Air Patrol) may be mailed to:

CADETS:
If you wish to apply online and pay the membership dues with credit card to receive expedited application processing, after you have attended two meetings and are ready to make the commitment to joining, complete the online membership application. On the third meeting, bring proof of identity (one identity document from the USCIS List A or List B) with you. The squadron commander or designee will verify your identity and approve your online application following the meeting.
If you wish to pay by check or money order, after you have attended two meetings and are ready to make the commitment to joining, download and complete a membership application. Once the application is complete, bring the application back to a squadron meeting along with proof of identity (one identity document from the USCIS List A or List B) for signature by the unit commander. STEP 4:
After your membership application is processed by Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters, you will be guided through the new member orientation program by an experienced squadron member.
